You’ll collaborate with experienced, technically strong professionals who value thoughtful execution and delivering results that make a difference. Our approach emphasizes outcomes and accountability over organizational complexity.

Responsibilities:

Generally speaking, our Sr. Full-Stack Web Application Developer will be responsible for working with business stakeholders and data professionals to scope, design, build, and implement data analytics web applications. This role will own both the front-end user experience and the back-end application architecture, ensuring the solution is intuitive, scalable, high-performing, and aligned with customer needs.

The developer will create clean, user-friendly UI/UX designs; build the back-end infrastructure and application logic; integrate with databases, APIs, and analytics platforms; and support deployment of web applications. As part of a nimble start-up, this person will have significant influence over the systems, technical approaches, and development practices used to deliver long-term value.

This role also includes responsibility for code quality, maintainability, and performance, including writing efficient reusable code, building shared components and libraries, and creating appropriate unit and integration tests. The ideal candidate is someone who can move comfortably between customer-facing design considerations and complex technical implementation.

Primary Job Duties to include:

  • Full-Stack Application Ownership: Lead the design, development, deployment, and ongoing improvement of high-performance web applications across both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Technical and User Design: Architect software solutions, define technical standards, make key design decisions, and develop user-friendly applications with clear documentation for long-term maintainability.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with business partners, customers, and data professionals to scope solutions, translate business needs into working applications, and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Front-End and Back-End Development: Build intuitive front-end interfaces, scalable back-end services, APIs, database integrations, microservices, and cloud-based application components.
  • Code Quality and Reusability: Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code; build shared components and libraries; and ensure applications are designed for future enhancement.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Own the quality of delivered code by writing unit tests, integration tests, and performing validation to ensure functional, reliable, and high-performing applications.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical challenges with simple, practical, and elegant solutions.
  • Technical Leadership and Continuous Improvement: Stay current with development trends, tools, frameworks, cloud technologies, and deployment practices while helping improve team standards, infrastructure, and development processes.
  • Independent Execution: Operate with limited handholding, prioritize work effectively, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and move work forward even when requirements are not fully defined.

Sr. Data Scientist Consultant

Responsibilities:

A Sr. Data Scientist Consultant will be delivering actionable insights from complex datasets, developing predictive/prescriptive models, and using best practices to drive the decisions of the business. This role will work closely with data engineers, data visualization experts, project managers, and stakeholders to uncover trends that can be leveraged to improve processes and decisions. Expectations are that you require no training to analyze large data sets using your preferred tools to build models based on assumed or observed trends and patterns. This person also needs to be a strong communicator as you will explain your model to stakeholders and often the fundamentals of data science (confidence, correlation, overfitting, etc.). We are a nimble organization and value folks that can iteratively drive impact while integrating and involving the business experts /stakeholders appropriately every step of the way.
    • Expert of Ideation & Problem Solving: You need to be exceptionally talented in quickly gaining the trust of a stakeholder, assessing their data needs and subsequently facilitating an ideation session to scope out an exciting opportunity that will positively impact them. Your problem-solving ability should be next to none as you explore the possibilities.
    • Executive Level Fluency in Communication, Presentation and Persuasion: You should have mastery of all forms of communication including (but not limited to) interpersonal communications, creating impactful presentations, driving change management efforts, connecting with and driving habitual change of others and being highly effective in your written communications.
